"Yes - Vacation should be fun & adventurous"...you knew I'd day that though, didn't you?! LOL!
I voted yes. We always like to walk around and see the sights, etc. I also like to do a little bonus activity before I actually do the walk arounds.
Although I have to say I love the *night owls* that hang out here
What do you mean a bonus activity ?
Great your family loves to see it & do it all :)
Bonus activity...I get up earlier and do the mini Leslie Sansone walks until my family wakes up.
My neighbor is going on a trip near the end of the yr and the room they are staying in is really small.
She is my treadmill neighbor and used to walking the treadmill everyday. She told me she will find it hard to do her walks. I told her she can still do them if she is determined by doing the Leslie Sansone walks. She forgot about those. I did her walks after needing more inspiration and have not forgotten it.
And for your neighbor too ..
So what if where one stays doesn't have a DVD player or video player to play them ?
Then how do you use them ?
Good thinking though :)
I just knew you were going to say that Hugs....Leslie Sansone's basic walks are the warm ups first of walking in place, little kicks, walks, knee lifts, walks, side steps, walks. After the 3 to 5 min of warm ups, one can do the same steps in the faster range like the treadmill. You can do them to music or while watching the TV. At least that is what I do on trips or anywhere. These are so easy. You can add your own things to them like the skips, or jumping in place, etc.
Our family doesn't call them vacations, we call them *adventures*
When we drive, we try to park the car and not use it much at all.
I pay a little more for a hotel sometimes to be close to where we want to be
then we try to walk or use public transportation as often as possible.
At Yellowstone we did drive alot,
but rarely spent more than 1 hour at a time in the car.
We would stop and walk or hike lots.
In Hawaii, DH & I didn't rent a car.
We arranged all our siteseeing with transportation included
so they picked us up.
We walked every day to the beach (3 blocks each way)
And up and down the main drag for shopping and food.
That's how we found that delightful tattoo parlor,
In an alley, behind the dumpsters LOL
It was nice - inside, and the artist was awesome!
So are they on an ipod or what ?
How do you *take* them with you ?
Of course I want to know :)
Wow good for you on doing all that walking while being away ..
Makes it more fun for everyone
Never know what you might find .. like the tattoo parlor
They had them in Clearwater too & I thought of you :)
