Has anyone else heard of this? The Belly Project
Women (and sometimes men…you know who you are…) can be obsessed with their bodies. Hair, nails, toes, skin, breasts, hips, eyes, they all get fixated on. But perhaps nothing is as preoccupying to us as our bellies. Our bellies are intimately related our sexuality and to our reproductive lives. It’s a complicated interaction, that confluence of sex and babies.
So it is a blog that has anonymous pictures of women's abdomens. Real Women - no airbrushing, no photoshop, no special lights or make up (and only one tummy tuck).
It made me wonder...........
Would you photograph yourself to display to the world?
Does seeing pictures of *real* people change your perception of what you *should* look like?
How far will you go to get the *perfect* body?
Do you think men have the same hang ups about showing their bellies that women do?

No ... it is the other way around Liz. Really! Thank you Hugs, Nadine, Liz, Lisa and everybody here for all the helpful ideas of portioning, water, the challenges to keep me going and inspired everyday.
Being here is SUPER!!! I do not think I would leave. I get lots of ideas from you ladies. I appreciate all your hard work of thinking and getting the interesting tips, etc.
I would never have thought of using the bike, or the hulahoop for my workouts. My bike was sitting on the porch for a long time and so was the hulahoop...actually in the garage.
Soooo.......I am not leaving here unless something goes wrong with the computer and I have to change my character name again.
Soooo....
ROFLMAO I don't have the elusive willpower to get to 6-pack status, would just be happier with something a lot flatter than what I own now...
That was quite an interesting website!
I'd just like to be the best 'me' I can be
>> That's really the end all, be all isn't it.

Don't care how flat the abs are
You see rolls when you are in a chair.
Glad you are doing so well at the gym
You have quite a workout going on.
Continued good luck with that.

Hopefully she will get it too!

And there is a lot to be said about eating well and working out.
I like the way you added "that I could maintain for the rest of my life."
That is really the key isn't it.
