Had a test done on my heart

Okay so I have a 24 hour holter monitor test done because I am feeling some fluttering in my chest. I did not feel anything at the time the test was done so I assumed everything was fine. I go see the Dr today and she informs me that it showed a 4 second Tachycardia and I have to go for a 48 hour test. Does anyone here know if this is a big deal or something not to worry about since I did not feel any symptoms at the time.

Sorry I'm not any help Amy. They're probably just being extra cautious and thorough.

My dad has that done often, but he has HBP and a heart murmur and a long family history of heart issues.

I used to work with a woman who had Tachycardia. She was in her mid-20s at that time. She could tell when it was happening and would just sit quietly for a moment. Other than that I am not familiar with the symptoms. She never seemed overly concerned about it.

I am doing my volunteer receptionist job at church and it's unusually quiet now so I popped in here to catch up. I will say a prayer for a clear diagnosis from your doctor along with an adequate explanation of what this is right now.

You will be just fine my friend. Hugs!
