I know a few days early but ..
Better early than late "
Hope no one minds

Summer is here and with it comes a bounty of fresh produce.
Who doesn't love visiting a farmers market and seeing all there is to offer.
Each of nature's colors supplies it's own special vitamins & phytochemicals.
Since we are given so many beautiful things - why don't we sample some of each?
The challenge for this month is to eat a rainbow every day!
One fruit or veggie from each of the five colors.
White, red, yellow or orange, green, blue
Get some great ideas here ........... http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/pubs/yf/foods/fn595w.htm
So your F & H challenge will be for your daily pictures:
Healthy Eating: one from each color or your best
Portion Control: to much of a good thing is still to much
Water: "them people" say at least 8 glasses a day - did you drink your fill?
Exercise: You know you need to move - did you do it?
BONUS: Journaling - You bite it, you write it.
Choose to use one of our threads: the Daily Meals, Weekly Journal, or Exercise & More.
Or go low-tech and jot it down in your Handy Dandy Notebook.
iVillage and other sites have online calorie counters - those would work too.
Any way you do it, see exactly how much you are eating, and use the info to fine tune your fitness efforts.
You can reward yourself with a
or
depending on how you do/did
If you are a newbie just check the
*Daily Exercise & More Discussion* to see how the *rainbow & clouds* work.
