What’s YOUR motivation to diet/exercise?

  • My weight
  • What I see when I look in the mirror
  • The way my clothes fit (or don't)
  • How I feel physically
  • My family or friends (or doctor)
  • My self-image
  • An upcoming event (ex. wedding, vacation etc)
  • All of the above

It's hard to get back on track after vacation Kuan,
Allowing yourself that time *should* help
Just remember start thinking why you were doing it all in the first place ..
Maybe that will help as well ..
Not to mention we'll be after you too otherwise :)

Kuan, it is ok to get off track for awhile. You know you will get back on again. At least you enjoyed yourself for that time.

I was talking to my neighbor and she works for the school district. Of course she has pressures and stress, but she is a runner, too. I think it is great that she runs. I do not run because I hate it. That is why I do other things which she is not into. She was telling me that if she did not have to work or have stress she would be a size 0. I was telling her one day that my sister is size 0, but did not tell her that my sister has a stressful job too in the medical world of difficult ob-gyn pregnancies. So I am thinking that by her comment that she is somewhat jealous. For me I would not make such comments, but that is how other people are.

You are funny Kuan. I need that myself and call it the V8 knock.

Yes I kow that is why we are all different and do different things.

I have to keep on track most of the time. Seeing my brother in law explode back to being overweight and my child's friend in the same obese condition scares me.

That is why you will see me a lot here.
