You Could Maybe Be a Vegetarian

You may think being vegetarian is a great idea, but you don't have all the tools to get started.
Find a local vegetarian group or buy a few vegetarian books.
Even if you don't go completely veggie, you can introduce more vegetarian foods into your diet!

>> Being so close to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary means we have lots and lots of card carrying, vocal vegetarians nearby.

My family turned on me when I started cooking vegan.
I do cook at least one meatless dinner a week.
I feel it's good for us to cut down some.
Adding fish or a lean meat is a good compromise.

It wasn't to hard for me, because I was committed to trying it for 90 days.
I was exploring if it was feasible, and if it really cut down my arthritis pain.
I found a cookbook that had vegetarian meals that could be prepared in 30 min or less.
All were pretty tasty, but DH likes gravy on everything,
so he as a bit disappointed in most of them.

I have a friend that doesn't cook much who is a vegetarian.
She uses the microwave steamer bags several times per week.
She loves her fish with veggies, and has experimented with which spices
work the best for her.
A very easy, and healthy meal.

Hmmm...do not know about this one. I would not be a total one. I enjoy some meat too. My brother in law went on a veggie diet and did good. Six months later he gained back and more now.

We like meat waay too much in this house. I could maybe give up red meat if I had to, but never chicken. And all my son is eats chicken nuggets lol. My DH would never in a million years give up his steak!
