Thanks Mandy for the greetings.

Understand the motion sickness because I get that too. I certainly will not be a jet pilot or astronaut or one to go on cruises.

You have AA there? Gee AA is everywhere. We have Calif SAA.

Me too on the colds. I have been fine. Mostly allergies.

I prefer my driving style to Ian's - he always is in such a rush to get places...

Driving on a winding road is yucky with the mud and getting stuck.

At one time we parked on a soft shoulder of a road and had a hard time getting out.

Some driver had a heavy tow bar on his truck and had to pull us out. We learned a nice lesson.

Hope you are enjoying the new book.

You can read when your husband is driving? That is good. I get motion sickness and cannot do that.

Yes, I can read while my husband is driving. I am fortunate in that I never get motion sickness. I grew up on roller coasters, must have cured me..LOL!! My DD1 gets motion sickness easily though. Really bad for those of you who have that problem. Reading makes the hours fly by much faster on long road trips. My husband is very hard of hearing, wears the strongest hearing aids, and finds it too difficult in the car with the background road sounds to carry on much conversation. Sometimes he plays music while I read, but mostly he likes silence. Sure wish he could hear better, but we do the best we can.
