Do you snack at night ?
Wow now it's not as bad as we though :)

Myth Busters: It's Okay to Night Snack

Dr. Nancy Snyderman has shared some surprising weight-loss facts from her book Diet Myths That Keep Us Fat. Today it's time to debunk the myth that night eating sabotages any diet plan. It doesn't matter what time of day you eat, says Snyderman. It is what and how much you eat and how much physical activity you do during the whole day that determines whether you gain, lose or maintain your weight. No matter when you eat, your body will store extra calories as fat. If you want a snack before bedtime, think first about how many calories you've eaten that day.

hmmmmmmmm, makes some sense but yet there are still those that believe the decreased metabolism during sleep can't handle digestion as well as during the waking hours.

I agree with you Julie,
While it does make sense ..
Think many of us have *trained* oursevles not to eat late.
Think we should stick with that you know
Good for you on doing so well at evenings & night :)

Is that you on the bike Julie? Cute.

My neighbor is that way too.

She was thinking of doing extra walking, but changed her mind.

Of course that means her weight will not go down though.

Actually it went up. She will be wondering why, but I already told

her to increase the walking and do another workout and she gives

me the *are you nuts look*. It is not impossible to go down, right Julie?

You are doing it. Then it will be controlling for you...where I am. Lots of hard

work, too.

hmmmm....yep. I drink water and a portion of the snack then I stop Hugs.

Then I start walking around and putting my laundry away and do my uppers or lowers.

I think we are different and react differently though.

Not really a night-time snacker - more Ian's line - & at the most I have a couple of cups of tea or coffee; or I'll have
