I'll start,
Being *Fit & Healthy* means feeling good .. inside & outside.
Being able to do things like stairs, walking fairly quickly & not getting winded.
Having good BP, being at a sensible weight too.
Just feeling your best & enjoying day to day life as well :)

I sure agree with what you wrote Hugs. For me too, I can do things that I never did before and do them a little bit better and not getting sick too much. I use to have a harder time walking up hilly streets with my swhusband and he would see me huffing and tell me I was out of shape. That was in 2006 and even a few years before. Nowadays I can walk really well up those hilly streets and right up to him without the panting out of breath. I used to give excuses that it was my congestion from the allergy, but I still have my allergy and I am walking better with it, that is anotherof many

I was thinking of something about getting fit and healthy. My aunt in Hawaii is sort of overweight...more than me when I started. Maybe 160ish. She walked a lot but never managed to lose that much either, because when we did go to visit she always looked the same. When she heard that I was overweight and managed to lose while walking, she probably could not

Isn't that just wonderful Aileen ?
So glad to hear all the things you can do better now.
It should make you feel so proud all you can do.
Wow

In a nutshell you sure said it perfectly Donna,
That longer life well what we all hope/want for ourselves.
Now that more energy is a bonus
Good way to describe what it really is & what we want for ourselves :)

Hopefully you're aunt will work on it daily Aileen,
We are all different & must do what we need to do.
However I find it sad for those that wait for *something*
That *something* may never happen & in the meantime wasted time ::gasp::
Life is too precious not to do :)

Being Fit & Healthy means I don't have to huff and puff while walking the stairs.
