How to be Your Own Motivation
"Dear diary..." Maybe you already keep a food journal, but what about an exercise journal?
Keep track of your workouts so you can give yourself credit for your dedication.
Then at the end of each workout entry, write one thing you enjoyed about your workout.
Maybe you're proud that you made it through the whole spin class or maybe it's that you love the playlist the teacher uses. Look back through your journal when you want to skip a workout for instant motivation.

I do not keep a food journal.
I do the exercise journal that you make.
I have never put how I felt.
I just do things differently now to change things around.
I log my exercise as well as my food intake on SparkPeople.
It shows pretty graphs of how many calories I'm eating vs using.
I also have an online running blog - that one I keep track
of how I feel, what I ate/drank before, during & after run,
How many miles, what type of run, etc.
That's most important :)
Love to hear you write how you feel with the runs before & after ..
Now I bet you're thrilled DD uses the smiles for her room.

It's good I think to track our successes & others ..
Allows us to see why we may not have a productive day.
