What's in your fridge ?
Healthy foods we hope ?
Let us know :)

De-junk Your Fridge

Empty your pantry of anything with these ingredients: high-fructose corn syrup, enriched flour/white bread and trans fats. These are health and diet saboteurs that are full of empty calories.

Ok no corn syrup stuff in there that I'm aware of & the cane syrup lives in the cupboard or else it would never pour out the bottle...
Bread lives in the bread bin on a counter, but it's wholewheat brown bread, or soya & linseed, so healthy options...
Got butter in the butter dish in the bread bin, macadamia oil in the fridge & canola oil in the food cupboard, so no trans fats that I'm aware of, just good, healthy stuff...
I do need to go through the fridge today or tomorrow 'cos I see Ian & Derek like putting empty jars back in there, rather than them going into the dishwasher...

Thanks for the share Hugs...

And yes it was the weekend
Happy to hear your fridge is well stocked with the essentials ..
And mostly good for you as well as good to eat :)

Eliminating HFCS foods is nearly impossible!
I'm trying though.

Very few with trans fats,
I never really cared for them anyways.

We do white bread about once a month,
The kiddos get tired of whole wheat,
They want to be "normal"
Unfortunately most of their friends parents buy for monetary value
Rather than nutritional value.

Hiya Liz,
One of the bread companies here produces something they call "Best of Both" which looks like white bread but supposedly has all the goodness of wholewheat.
