Your Weight Loss Goals: Reality Check

  • In all honesty .. my goal is too high.
  • I'm going to have to admit I set my real goal too low.
  • I have set my goals just right & they are acheivable.
  • I haven't really set any goals.

Yes she knows she is losing inches. The thing is that she has been eating because
of the dinners often for this summer and gained. If you gain, is it still possible to
lose the inches? That one puzzles me.

Interesting Aileen,
I guess it's possible to lose inches & not weight ..
Maybe it's her workouts ?
We should all be so lucky :)

Very happy to be back walking every day again.
Waiting for that scale to start giving me a good morning

That is my neighbor who does the treadmill walks Hugs. I never asked her
if she lost any more inches recently though. Now she told me she is alternating
her treadmill walking. Slow walks for the 10 min and the next 30 min the 3. 6
walking. Now when she does the changing I know she is wanting to lose something.
Instead of losing she was kind of controlling until she was eating at the dinners
and she gained a couple of pounds more.

Well that is good she is changing it up like that at least,
Maybe she'll see how much better that is & lose even more.
Hopefully she will control her portions & lose more :)

Oh I do not know about that if she wants to do the portion thing yet Hugs.
She loves to eat. One night she went to a wedding reception and ate there
then came to a graduation party and ate another plateful of food. It will be
absolutely hard for her. I will see in a month or so if she is noticing changes.

I am often told I've set my goals to low.
I'd like to lose about 20 lbs.
but "them people" feel I need to be 50 lbs lighter.
I tried that a long time ago,
And honestly I looked awful at the *right* weight
I'd rather carry a few extra pounds on the scale
And look good and feel good
than diet my way down to misery.
