A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference.
Winnie the Pooh
Pooh's Little Instruction Book

August is all about Attitude & Gratitude.
When a friend walks up to you and says how hard something is,
do you immediately look at their failures?

Do you tell them how dumb/unmotivated/undisciplined they are?
Or do you give them encouragement?
If you are like me you would never treat your friends the way you treat yourself.
So the challenge for August is to treat yourself like you treat your friends.
Show yourself some kindness,
Be appreciative of what you have been given.

The challenge will have four parts  ~

  • Exercise .. post your steps and/or minutes of exercise.

  • Healthy Diet & Portion Control?  .. No point in making healthy choices & forgetting portion control!

  • Water .. drink 'til you float!

  • *Just for you* .. at the beginning of each week in August pick something you need to work on for a fitter, healthier and happier you.
Examples:   your posture, taking *me* time, thinking more positively about your life and working on improving things you have the power to improve.
Don't forget to focus on motivation too .. that is also for *YOU*
You could also choose to keep working on those things you have already committed to in for July ..

Bonus:    For August the bonus is for saying something positive to yourself or for giving thanks for a gift you have been given.

As usual post your results in the *Daily Exercise & More Discussion* in the *Exercise Goals & More* Folder.    You can reward yourself with a  *yahoo*     FinalAugyahoo.gif picture by Fitness-Health   or a *boo hoo* Augboohoofinal.gif picture by Fitness-Health depending on how you do.
Good Luck  :)

Well walking does help. When I put in so many hours of walking, you will be bug eyed. They were not
the brisk walk but fast enough.

Walking through the softer sand on the beach is hard work, I noticed Hugs, so they were good walks.

I used to hate walking on that part of the sand and used to walk

near the water...where it was more solid. What a change! Now I

really love walking in the softer sand.

Yuck...100???!!! Double Yuck Hugs!!

True with the humidity it would be just horrible. Still ...it is
too hot for me. A few years ago I was there and it was in the
70's in April. That was soo nice.
