I think it helped me get a clearer picture of my overall food intake & of problem areas.

It can be tough finding all the info about what we eat Kuan,
Least for now you're good
Several years ago I had a book that had all that that was a journal.
It was very helpful ..
In other words the *tools* are out there somewhere

I said "Other" rather than "Why Bother" for saying why bother may seem like I see no value in food journals. I do see the value for some people who need it, but I don't need it. I used to keep them while on other weightloss plans, but since following Dr. Oz, I have no need to do so. I only buy the recommended foods, that's all I eat at home, know that I must eat from all food catagories..except for sugar..use portion control, don't forget what I've eaten in a day, and that does it. As always, I am also working in being sensible in restaurants too. Their lies my problem.

Hi Donna,
Yes the can be very helpful for many ..
Understand how you feel.
And know you are already good in what you buy ..
And conscious of labels , etc.
As for the going out .. You & me GF ::blush::
We'll get better eventually
Remember we are that work in progress :)

I voted Love It, but it's more of a necessar evil than love.

When I log my food religiously I really watch what I eat
And I think about every thing passing my lips.

That means fewer calories and more weight loss.
