Just Wondering......

This question kept me wondering and puzzling over something. When everyone started their workout journey and they do not like to exercise or even hate to, after doing it for so many months and going into 1 to 2 years, etc., do any of you still hate to exercise or have that feeling still?
My neighbor started in Oct 2008, and she still hates to exercise other than the treadmill or up to 2 minutes of bicep curls.
For me , I did start off not unmotivated but it got better, then I was in the flabbergasted stage. Eight months later I was a lot better and motivated. Today I am still motivated.

Good question Aileen:
I've never like exercise for the sake of exercise; but, lucky that I've always been athletic and love outside activity.
Great question!!
I go through phases, Aileen - most times I love to exercise, but some days I just can't bring myself to do it with everything else I've got going on.

True on that Julie. I am with you that I do the exercise but I do not really love it. If it is fun I am fine with it.
If I had to do ab crunches which I hate, then I would not like to exercise that much. Finding alternate ways of
doing the ab workouts is what I like.
Do I regret exercising?
I do other ab workouts, too (when I do them ;).
I agree on the too busy part. It is hard when you have a lot of errands and work and no time.
Although when I change often, the workouts do make me feel in a better mood and that is why I do it that
way. I also find that it is good for me now to do the circuit training and t taps, so I won't have to spend a few
hours doing everything. I can shorten it and do the ones I enjoy like some biking, hulahooping.
I love walking for exercise, always have all my life. I hate all other forms of exercise except for swimming, which I can no longer do due to several back surgeries. It never changes, my hatred for all other forms of exercise has followed me all my life. I just force myself to do some for awhile and then take a break, then get back to it and so it goes.
Oh yes know what you mean about certain exercises. I pick and choose the ones I like and use them.
A lot of them, I do not like.
Walking is the first one I started with. I was not motivated until 8 months later when I tried the Leslie Sansone
walks.
Glad to know we are all different but still positive about working out and if we want too we can try out
different ones.
My neighbor being strange is ...what can I say?
When I first started walking I didn't care for it, but eventually got to where I liked it and had a habit of walking 5 to 6 days a week.
That is understandable Gail...no worries. I was wondering where you have been.
True....for me now I am understanding that all this has helped me become more limber and easier to dothings, so I do them. The uninspired mood did stay with me for 8 months until I changed it with the Leslie Sansone walks. Coming here inspired me more and learning to keep changing instead of doing the same
workout over and over. The mood is gone but I know it can come back, if I do not change around. Looking at my neighbor and what she is doing on the treadmill is good but looks like what Hugs said it will get boring.
She is doing arm bicep curls, but refuses to change to work different muscles, which she considers extra
exercise and not willing to do anymore, but she puzzled me when she wanted to do more reps.
Wow! For a strange reason The Chronicles of Narnia song is in my head and has been doing that for 2 days.
I will have to listen to an Abba song if this keeps up.
