I'm Home!! Yea!!

I came home yesterday afternoon and slept most of the day.  Today has been a little easier.  I am still on some really good meds!

They were able to stick with the da Vinci hysterectomy.  They removed the uterus, tubes and ovaries.  The lab said that the cancer had gone through less than half of the uterine wall, so the doc had them do a "freeze test" (?) and it came back that the cancer was nonagressive, so he said that meant that it was less than 5% likely that the cancer had gone to the lymph nodes, so he did not remove them.

Will be back later to talk more, right now, my oxycodin is kicking in and I am having to backspace repeatedly to correct my mistakes.  Just want to thank everyone here for their support.

I missed this last week - I was already gone when you posted.

I'm glad that things went so well.
What a relief that it is a non-agressive strain.

Excellent news hon. So happy for you on that diagnosis. Just take it very carefully for a few weeks. So nice to see you!
