I'm new to vegetables

Canned vegetables are supposed to have less nutrients than frozen vegetables, but I can eat canned vegetables straight out of the can, frozen vegetables will probably lose most of their nutrients when I boil them, right? What is best?
P.S.- Obviously I know that vegetables from the grocery are better, but lets make believe they are not available.

I have vegetable when I can. I should more often, but I know I do not. Have you ever tried
Hummus?
Have what you like & enjoy :)
Fresh veggies are the best, especially when you grow them yourself because you know what's been used on them in the garden.
Frozen veggies are the next nutritious because you control how long they are cooked. I put the frozen veggies in the water and put the pan on high and then when the water comes to a hard boil I turn off the heat and cover the veggies and just let them sit until I've got the rest of the meal done. When I lift the lid, if it's still steaming the veggies will be hot, if it's not steaming I heat again just until the water comes to a boil, then I drain and serve.
Next time you open a can of veggies look at the dull color. Green bean are supposed to be bright green not almost an army green. Not only are many of the nutrients lost in the canning process but they are loaded with preservatives and salt. I always have some in the pantry, but only use them in a pinch.
