i chose finding the happy balance .... honestly, neither of those things overwhelms me really ... it's trying to find the time to get the exercise in, around my schedule and around my daughter

she loves to go out and play, and we are outdoors a lot but she's an explorer, and being able to take a walk WITH her is absolutely impossible lol...so i hafta sneak out of the house when someone else is there to watch her, which is HARD cus she's a velcro baby and loves her mommy ....LOL

and getting up early? pffhhtt haha

Finding balance can be a struggle for me.


I usually do really well on eating and skip the workouts


or I hit the trails hard and eat everything in sight.


I need to figure out a way to do both together!

LOL on the getting up early Monica,
I am sure you do because of DD & your furkid right ?
Which also help you find that balance too.
Glad you don't get too overwhelmed with either ..

LOL yeah :) i am usually up by 6:00 ... so if i were to get up earlier to walk i would hafta get up about 5:00... which i'm considering doing, but in the fall/winter it'll still be pretty dark at that time, and that's no fun :[

my daughter is a late sleeper LOL, she doesnt usually get up until like 9 if she doesnt hafta ... though this week we're going to start going to bed earlier (one hour earlier than now, at 8:30) in order to get her used to getting up at 6 to get ready for school :)

so im probably going to hafta time my walks in the middle of the day at school (which would be ok, once it's not 90 degrees) ...but i hafta be able to get out of class and leave right away to pick tay up from preschool....cus their after school care is like 2 bucks an hour

or try to get away in the evenings and let one of my parents watch her while i can take my walk

so my day pretty much consists of getting her up and ready and myself ready for us both to go to school ... me working for 4 hours before class because i need all the money i can get right now ... going to class...rushing to her school to pick her up so that she doesnt hafta be in after school care very long .... coming home and finding time to clean up, cook dinner, try to fit a walk in, get her ready for bed, and still find time to study 9 hours a day to keep my 4.0 GPA *sigh* like i said ...overwhelming lol

Interesting poll. For me, changing my eating habits is by far harder for me than changing my exercise habits. It's very difficult to get the eating changes to sink in and disappear for ever-kwim? ;)
