Not seeing numbers go down or seeing them go up used to really

Understand that part. When I started and did the walks for 4 to 6 months and my number did not go down, it was an eye opener for me.

I think that as long as we use these setbacks & plateaus as learning experiences & not as excuses to abandon all reason, we'll be ok.

Yes I agree on what you say. My neighbor I think will keep doing what she wants to do and I will not bother her

That is a cute saying...never heard of that one. When you think of it, it makes sense, too.

Yes I used to call my beginning journey walk slow, but I am realizing now they were baby steps or small steps leading to the larger ones. Coming here sure helped get ideas to really buckle down and decide to do things.
I know before coming here that I did not do the portioning and using the scale told me. Deciding to do the portioning with the workouts and water made a difference. Later on I learned about changing, so my body would not get used to the same motion. I probably would be still

Yes I remember that quote too. Maybe I was passing it along somewhere because I got that from my DS Nittendo game. It is a good one.

Yes start slow and and keep it off. It works better that way.

Ooooh yes so easy to not do any more exercises. We all have to watch it young and older.
I realize that working out makes it easier to do other things, so no reason for me to give up.

This is a journey we are all taking to help ourselves for everything.

Maybe one day my brother in law and neighbor's son will start again before it is too late. Hopefully soon.
