When it comes to fat, one word probably springs to mind—''bad.'' But some fats are positively healthy—in moderation. If you know that already, you know more than most: A recent survey from the American Heart Association (AHA) revealed that fewer than half of Americans are aware of the benefits of ''better'' fats. Of the four major fats—saturated, trans, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated—the last two belong in a healthy diet. Still, even ''good'' fats are high in calories, so it's important to know which fats to avoid and which ones to eat.
