Has Exercise Helped You Lose Weight?

  • Most Definately!
  • Not really, but I don't exercise regularly.
  • No, but I'm more fit now.
  • Sort of, but I need to bump up intensity.
  • I don't know, I haven't started yet.
  • and the dreaded "other"

hi, Exercise Lose Weight is part of the overall equation to weight loss. however, i would say exercise only contributes 30% of the overall diet effort, the rest is on how you control your food intake.

I would say that exercise has helped me lose the baby weight when I first started plus maintain a good diet....you certainly cannot eat a whole pizza for a meal....now when I do my walks it is for strength and sanity....I am a SAHM with five kids and we just moved to a new town so I have no friends and the kids are in school for most of the day and my dh works long hours so I never know when he is going to be home....now I am getting bored with just my walks and I am looking for something else to do for exercising....Karate, Tai Chi, or something along that line....
