While I felt the results of my "fit & healthy" quest very early on-I didn't start to see any noticeable results for several months into my program. My differences were always very small and it wasn't actually for a very long time until others started making comments did I really start to notice things myself.

I said 4-6 weeks because I would loose between 2-4 weeks but really not feeling or seeing it until between the 4th and 6th week. That is really when you will see and feel it in your clothes.

Slow is often better, Aileen - I have been doing this for a year and a half and have lost about 39 pounds.

Agree, Miriam - takes about 5 pounds for me to feel any difference in my clothes :o)

Yes now I know that the slow way is better. At the start I was like everyone else who wanted to see the number go down. When it did not budge for the few months, I was thinking something that I was doing was wrong.

Yep me too, but patience is important to stick it out in the long haul - otherwise you give up and go back to the old ways and that REALLY doesn't work :o)
