Right now I'm permitted 2154 calories a day. How should distribute those?

Here is a sample meal plan that may work for you, Dizzfrizz:

Hi dizzfrizz,
I see Nadine gave you an idea/sample ..
Does that help ?
Where did you figure your number of calories a day ?
Hopefully others will have more ideas for you :)

I agree with Nadine's suggestion to divide your meals up that way. You will not be overly starving all the time and you will not go over your suggested calories. ...Grazing small meals.

Julie - when you do a lot of exercise like that it's probably a good idea to throw in another high-protein snack like rice cakes with peanut butter on them.

I'm using livestrong.com to figure my calories. They take into account your age, weight, height and activity level plus your weight goal, such as maintaining your weight or losing weight. I would like to lose 2 pounds a week and I'm still very over weight at this point so my allowed calories is still rather high. Plus, I'm nursing twins. I hadn't done so well that last 2 weeks and had stopped tracking my calories. I thought I was doing okay because I was watching what I was eating, then I stepped on the scale and I had gained 3 pounds. So I started tracking calories again on Monday and upped my exercise and I've lost those 3 pounds as of this morning. But I'm still finding myself with almost half my calories left come dinner time so I'm over eating at night with night time munching. One night this week I didn't munch. 2 nights I did munch but it was fruit. But I knew the way I was distributing my calories wasn't good but didn't know the proper way to do it. My only concern is that I'll distribute my calories evenly and then still want to much at night and then I'll be over my calorie count for the day. I just have to work on it.

If you DO find yourself over your calories, you can still munch on things like celery, carrots, pickles, etc
