Check this out & let us know what you think :)

Take Your Measurements

We eat several hundred extra calories more a day on average than we did 30 years ago. Where do the extra calories come from? In large part, bigger portion sizes.

If you want to know how much you're eating, try this experiment. Pour a typical bowl of breakfast cereal, then measure the amount in your bowl. How does it compare that to the serving size on the label? Do the same for everything you eat, and you'll see exactly where you can make changes.

thanks for posting this Hugs. I need to show the slide show to DH. He fills my plate to the brim. Tonight he made shepherds pie. I'm sure he'll over flow our bowls. Yikes! I never eat all my dinner.

I eat well, meaning that I eat whole foods and organic. But I was definitely eating too much. So 8 weeks
ago I started managing my portions and lost 9 pounds. My husband's lost 12. The lesson for me was
portion control. Even healthy food can make you fat.

So true about getting used to the smaller portions(both physical and mental for sure).

You're right about that Kuan,
It does take time for our bodies to adjust to the smaller portions ..
But yes it does happen ..
I know not easy to wait for it but a must
Great idea on the adults ordering the kid's meals.
Now that's a terrific idea
Hopefully your co worker is doing better with the smaller portions :)
