How to Beat Overeating
It's true what they say—television adds 10 pounds. A recent study shows that TV food ads directly correlate with an increase in calorie consumption. Before you swear off your TV, health editor at large Dr. Madelyn Fernstrom helps you avoid the television-induced munchies:
- Don't watch TV on an empty stomach.
- Have a low-fat, high-fiber snack beforehand.
- If you can, fast-forward through commercials.
- The simplest way—watch less TV.

Those crackers are good. Big bowl?
Guess what? The weigh in is next week. We started today, but didn't weigh in. Bad for me, because I'm PMSy. I'll eat a bunch of chocolate and salt before my weight in. I did go to class and then went to cycle class. I will be hurting tomorrow.
Ok...Oh you are in that mode or will be.. ...hmmmm...well...I guess you better not do that next week then.
I did not know they have chocolate ones. Well good thing I do not.
oops on the gold fish......it happens, unfortunately.
I hear you on the chocolate and salt when pms'ing.
I used to eat while watching TV, but not anymore. I don't watch tv very much and when I do the only thing that I will have is a cup of green tea and if I need something cold I will munch on a popsicle and that is it. I do not eat anymor after 7:00 pm.
At least that is one good habit I have gotten into. Now I must try to get into other healthy habits such as exercising, and if I can acheive that, well that would be fantastic. I will get there, I know I will.
