Congratulations! It sounds like you know a thing or two about goal-setting and that you've taken steps to ensure you'll be successful, supported and highly motivated along the way. Just be sure your motivation stays strong even when the going gets tough.
At the time I was doing this Oct 2006 to Jan 2007, I know I messed up in certain areas. I was still eating the same, and not walking enough. I did get upset when the scale just stayed the same for the months I walked and that would be 3 months. I did not fall though, but tried to change to something a mini step. That did not work for me and my weight remained the same. I kept trying until I found a walking dvd that was the best for me. I did not set goals at that time either. Maybe that was the problem, too.
YOu definitely are prepared for success Aileen, Foloowing through like you told your neighbor is great proof .. Yep we'll be doing this together forever :)

I think you did great Gail. Yes it is true of time schedules , etc. but you know how to do that at least.

Yep Gail. I also found out and realized that I did not set goals in my beginning in Oct 2006. I set them in Feb 2008.
I wonder if that would have pushed me more faster.
