With a friend or neighbor,
Although I love my four legged friends/buddies too :)
I voted combo.
I would love to work out with a neighbor, but they prefer to
do different things and have no interest in losing weight or
doing workouts.
Also would love to walk out more with swhusband but cannot,
so I am alone. At the time I started I was lonely, but I am ok and fine
with this now.
I like to work out alone.
That makes the time go by so much faster!

You seem like a very social person!
To bad you can't at least squeeze in one walk or bike ride per week with your husband.
It is fun to have activities to do together.
I understand about not having neighbors to workout with.
I usually end up burning them out by going to fast or to often.
None of mine seem very serious about the weight loss or training.
Alone is good - like you said much easier to schedule.
I enjoy having time to myself too.
At least you do get some social time when golfing.
