Winter Approaching...Are you ready??

The leaves are turning and the air has a chill............. Outside exercise will be more difficult here in the North East. Here's how I have prepared (all low impact which is important to me:).........Are you ready for winter??
I bought the Leslie Sansone Five Day Slim Down.
I bought Bellydance Fitness for Beginners and Bellydance Fitness for Weight Loss
I now have a Hulahoop for upstairs and downstairs:)
I bought two timers so I can time mini workouts
I also have my AM Yoga
My Urban rebounder and two DVD's with multiple intense workouts
My BowFlex, which I love............

The workout is short but intense and each level does have a couple of moves that you may consider higher impact but, you're given two options to do on those moves. There are two assistants, Natalie and Anita and Anita does the modified version for those who can't do the higher impact moves. There are lunges and squats in each level (but you know done correctly you won't go past 90 degress). I have some knee issues myself and this workout isn't as tough on my knees as some I've done. I just follow the modified girl on anything that may require a jump or if my knee is bothering me.
I have to say this is one of the better workout

I enjoy a couple of games on the Wii Fit,
My kiddos (15 & 11) use it alot
It takes a while to get the "fun" yoga poses,
but you are rewarded with additonal games
by the amount of time you spend on the Wii Fit.
The sounds of the hula hoop game (which is my DD's fave)
Make my Austrailian Shephard crazy
He starts howling and growling and trying to find something to attack!
I've been looking at that one
Thanks for the review Karla!

Let me know how you like the bellydancing for beginners, please. I've thought about buying it and a beginning pilates DVD. I've got 1 Richard Simmons tape and a Tai Chi tape that I like to break out for something different. When I'm feeling really good I like to bundle up and get out for a walk anyway. My rule of thumb is as long as it's near 40 I can go walk without fear of frostbite. It's always windy here in the Michigan countryside and the wind chill is what really bites us. That's what long johns and heavy weight clothing is for. I've also got a fitness channel included in our satellite listings. I check in on it once in a while and move along with them for short periods. Those are usually for people who are in much better shape than me. If it's way too advanced, I walk in place and do the upper body movements that they are doing.

I will let you know once I do that one a few times.
