Breakfast was toast with Nuefchatel cheese and low sugar jelly and coffee.
Lunch is up in the air yet.
Dinner will be home cooked hamburgers, homemade mac and cheese, baked beans. I'm sure slaw, salad or fresh veggies will make an appearance at the table, too. Tonight's meal is a little leftover and a little fresh combination. We had leftover hamburger from a couple of meals that we shaped into patties and froze and some leftover cheese sauce for broccoli a couple of nights ago.
Can't wait for supper tonight. I've already got the beans mixed up and ready for the oven!

That's right I was going to suggest for those who want to cut down on fats, they don't have to give up cheese and other sauces completely. We make sauces for our food less frequently, but when we do want one, we make it separately from the food and then just spoon the amount we want over our portion. We also use lower fat products to make our sauces. The only problem we have encountered is thickness. If it isn't the desired consistency, we have found adding a little cornstarch will thicken it right up without changing the flavor. Just thought I'd share.
That's always my choice at Wendy's too. I like getting chili there.
I think we will be having Wendy's more often Since both kiddos are watching SuperSize Me in school.
Neither will go to McDonalds "EVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN" or so they say. They aren't asking to go play the Monopoly game Which is highly unusual for them, so it might be making an impression.

hi, Liz! good question!!
we plan to go to Wendy's, so i'm thinking chili, a baked potato, and a salad; but last time they were out of potatoes! :(
i'm still eating dark chocolate chips, nuts, and popcorn with olive oil/butter for snacks... not all at once! lOL
