My five! (more)
1. What do you enjoy most about the end of summer and the beginning of fall? The relief from the intense 90+ heat of summer before the bitter winter cold and snow rolls around in November/December! (Spring is nice, but way too rainy here, LOL.) Too bad there couldn't be a climate with perfect fall weather the entire year round; I'd move there in a heartbeat.
2. If you were going to plant a flower garden what it the one flower or plant that would just have to be included? Oooh, lilacs, morning glories, irises, and violets. (Basically any sort of purple or blue flower, LOL!)
3. Do you have a lucky charm? Naw, I'm not superstitious. In fact, I go out of my way to pet black cats, LOL.
4. If you boarded a plane that would take you anywhere you wanted to go the first stop would be? Some place tropical with lots of sunny sandy beaches and water like Hawaii or Tahiti. (No sharks allowed though!)
5. The funniest book you've read is? Expecting Someone Taller by Tom Holt. (Close runnerups would be two other books by him: Flying Dutch and Who's Afraid Of Beowulf?)
HERE GOES MY FIVE
1. I love to watch the leaves on the trees change colour and then kicking through the fallen leaves, not that keen on the nights getting dark earlier although it's nice to be snug and warm indoors watching the sky darken
2. I have quite a large garden which I love spending time in and it is full of different kinds of flowers but I have to confess my favourite flower is a Carnation which I haven't got in my garden - they are so difficult to grow.
3. I haven't got a lucky charm really, I have carried things round with me before but they didn't work, the only thing I wear all the time now is a Chakra necklace given to me by a medium friend of mine and it seems to have worked - I feel much better since I started wearing it, so maybe that is my lucky charm.
4.I would love to see so many places in this big old world that this is a tricky question, if I was really pushed I suppose I would have to pick Italy, I have always been interested in history and what more historical country is there than Italy with it's connection to the Roman's and of course the God's, so it would have to be Italy I think with Greece and then Egypt next.
5. The funniest book I ever read is a recent one, Bridget Jones's Diary it is hilarious and reminds me of myself before I met my husband.
