Round two of the "Alphabet Game" will be words describing how we deal with Parkinson's (either personally or, in Jane's case, as a caregiver) on a day to day basis.

And being as I get to select the subject, I suppose I get to start the game.

Good luck everyone!

Marty

I - IDENTITY. It can be easy to loose ourselves to the disease and , in effect, become parkinson's. It's important to realize that we're still the same person as before, just a little slower

J is for Joining...joining a support group either locally or on the internet as a way to form bonds with other people with parkinson's and their caregivers; people who understand what we are living with, know how PD feels and who can help us discover more ways of coping.
