3. If you wrote a book about your life, what would be the title of YOUR autobiography?

1. What book are you currently reading this summer and/or what is the last book you read. Would you recommend them?

I'm reading "The Guardian" by Nicholas Sparks & "Second Glance" by Jodi Picoult this summer. The last Good book I read was "The Pact" by Jodi Picoult and I read "Lovely Bones", but didn't like that one at all. Too disturbing in my opinion, even though it seems to be a huge best seller.

2. What is one of your favorite all-time books?

Without a doubt, my absolute favorite book is "That Quail, Robert" by Margaret Stanger. I also liked "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom and I'm a huge fan of Ann Rule

3. If you wrote a book about your life, what would be the title of YOUR autobiography?

"Seriously, I'm not kidding", By Lauren Sue (I admit, I never gave this much thought)

4. What book about Parkinson’s would you recommend?

I'm looking forward to other people's answers on this one. I'd love to find new helpful books on PD.

5. What are your plans this weekend?

Older 3 kids go to their Dad's this weekend, so we're taking the toddler sailing this weekend. Sailing to one of the near by islands on the Chesapeake Bay for lunch and then back for the daily grind of life (and hoping my washer & dryer get delivered this Monday to make things easier.)

1) of all the losesi've experienced in my life, the one that makes most sad is not being able to read for more than a few minutes at a time. i just can't find a comfortable position too read in and that completely blows my concentration. that being said, i just finished rereading tom clancy's the hunt for red october. if you enjoy thecno-thrillers, you won't find one better.

2) this is like asking what's my favorite food. one of my alltime favs is my complete hemingway short stories. the man wrote with such cleariy and simplicity and was able to express so much feeling with so few words, he is a joy to read

3) my auto bio would titled, living on parkinson's time

4) parkinson's: a patient's view by sidney dorros. sid was a great man. he was the first pwp to be anactive advocate for other pwp's. he and his wife, donna, flew around the country at their own expense talking to pwps and cargivers, helping them start support groups. i had the great pleasure working with him on several occaasions. he died about 10 years ago of a ruptured colon (take constipation seriously)

5) whatever serandipity dddrops in my lap

Nick,

Did you see I quoted from Sidney Dorros's book in the worry folder under the title "accepting the diagnosis"? He was an amazing man and what an honor for you to have met him.

Also, your answer in number 5 reminded me: my husband's sailboat is named "Serendipity", LOL.
