Woo HOo! It's the RETURN of the FRIDAY 5:
Many thoughts and prayers to your BIL. He's so very lucky it wasn't more serious, but I can't even begin to imagine the pain he must be experiencing from his injuries.
I've never been on a motorcycle before and I can't imagine going on one without a helmet. So scary! He really is lucky.
Broken ribs are so painful!
I believe we have laws here also however I'm not sure
I had intentions of posting an update to this yesterday however like most days lately, yesterday came and went and I didn't do it.
Thanks for the prayers etc..! That's much appreciated!
It's actually my wife's brother, my BIL, that had the accident. We still don't know a lot more about his injuries. Apparently the scan came back with no indication of broken bones or spinal injury however he's having a lot of back pain. I'm not surprised because he's had back problems for years.
My wife and her dad went down today so we should have better information when she gets back. Still think he was awfully lucky considering he doesn't wear a helmet!
I'll update this when I find out more!
Thanks again, Marty
So sorry to hear about your brother!
We got a huge break from the heat last evening when a cool front came through and the temps dropped
You are so right about Lauren actually becoming the dance, unlike Kent.
Kent and Lauren really were amazing athletes (yes, I said ATHLETES, not just dancers. They are proof Dance is a sport).... but I think Kent was still Kent doing Broadway or Kent doing Hip hop or Kent doing Contemporary, while you'd forget it was Lauren and she'd totally become the routine, the part, the character. Such a good season!
and what did you think of that 9 year old tap dancer. WOW.
What have your temps been like lately? We've had a record breaking hot summer, so you wouldn't like it around here either. Just so muggy and hot. I miss the blizzard. What part of Florida does your Mom live in. With those cold winters you get, seems like a trip to Florida at that time would be perfect.
And we need to have a chocolate party here. Seems like we all have something more than Parkinson's in common ;-)
I hope you've had a good break from your frazzled week and had a chance to kick back! good luck with the remaining work on that apartment.
