darn, who rearranged the furniture in my absence?!

I have managed to get on Nat's computer tonight, not sure why the kids arent on but I am not complaining. They have new games on here and it will be a while before the novelty wears off I think. The poor computer is usually up and running it most of the day.

I have my own computer out in the kitchen but it has a dicky modem, its ok for IM's and email but takes it way too long to load any of the boards, it usually times out in the process. Its still got most of the kids games on it as well, so there is often one on this computer and one on that one and three others complaining about wanting a turn. Why did Nat go and have so many?! lol Oh thats right, I think a couple of them tagged along with me.

I got a phone call the other morning. Someone I knew threw cat breeding. I have been offered my stud cat (Reiki) back - I sent him to Australia a couple of years ago. I really hoped i could get him back but i cant justify the expense. I phoned this friend because she had used his services in the past and I wondered if she had any of his descendants. She had phoned to tell me what she had and how much she charged. But Natalie answered the phone. He arrives in a couple of weeks!! A ten week old blue mink tonkinese boy baby. She was trying to keep it a secret but she is not very good at it. She was bursting to tell me by the time I got home. I will have to get in touch with the breeder in Australia and ask her if she can find Reiki a really good home over there.

Not much else happening here. I am still waiting to get orthotics and new shoes and not allowed to walk too much in the meantime, am cycling 20kms a day most days instead. On the exercycle, cant get lost that way.

Hows life treating everyone else? I dont have enough time online to go and read all the threads.

I had planned to reformat my computer... now dont go calling it a dinosaur just yet, this is the one that Yket and I built ourselves! Nat just thought that it would ease some of the fighting if the kids had access to both computers. Some of Kelly's games wouldnt install on hers for some reason. I do plan on going through and taking off what they hardly use and then running a defrag. I think they have lost a lot of the games that were installed. I can easily upgrade the processor in the other one to speed it up a bit but that is something I want to save til we are out of here.

Nat really wants another persian. She bought a cat a few years back, he was supposed to be a british blue. She bought him from a backyard breeder and it happened that he had persian in his background so he was a huge fluffy cat with massive paws and big saucer eyes but not the squished persian face. He was killed on the road about a year ago.

Cool news about the cat, Ven - a very sweet thing of Nat to do for you :)

And what's this about you not getting lost? I thought with those angel powers you have you'd have no chance of keeping that exercycle on the ground

sure, but it gets confusing logging out of you and logging in to me all the time. Do you think we could invent a persona to cover all bases?! just a thought.....

now the theory behind this is that its always the person you would suspect the least! Of course you cant SHOVE the furniture around, but seeing as its cyber furniture and all... how do we really know you are not a master of telekinesis? I think you DO move all the furniture so the poor butchies have to move it all back again! yeah... we are on to your game Cat!

heh, you snuck in on me Lou!

Sometimes Nat can be very sweet and when she does something like that, its always a nice surprise and very unexpected.

I never thought of extending my angel powers to the exercycle..... hmmm.... might draw a wee bit too much attention and all though, eh?! Would kind of defy the whole being anonymous online thing having my picture splattered on the front page of every newspaper, I think.
