I missed you guys. I also missed the poetry slam.

My computer crashed again. This time I bought a good one.

Now using a new Power Book G4 MAC. I use Mac for my media

as a desk top.

Well I am going to catch up on the posts.

Hope all is as well as can be for everyone.

How do you like the Mac verses a PC?

Hi rj,

I have always loved the Mac for working with photos, videos etc.

And I still think PC's are okay but, the Mac is so much more powerfull

and just never seems to have problems like the PC's. When you need to

use the Mac you can depend on it to work with out screwing up in the

middle of your work.

On the Power Macs, G4 and up at least, you can run music, videos,

and music even while you are editing them. You can also have like 10

windows open at a time with out the computer bogging down or telling

you to close some windows due to memory problems.

I do like Word for PC's but you can operate Windows on a Mac with

software. Also my Macs burn music cd's in minuets.

If you use graphics, or other media you really need a Mac.

It is also so much easier to add hardware to a Mac because they think

of the user by placing things in convenient places.

If you are thinking about a Mac I would highly recommend it.
