Dreaming.........

Have you had any weird/interesting/scary/funny dreams lately?

I almost never remember my dreams (they say you dream every night, you just don't always remember doing so.) but three out of the last 5 nights I have had very vivid dreams. All of them have revolved around meeting Kim's family in some way or another. We don't have any plans for this to happen at any certain time, but we have discussed it once or twice lately, in the some day far from now kind of scenario and I guess that has just sort of stuck with me.

I've also been having baby dreams lately....... the chick who never wanted kids has baby fever SO bad right now. *Hoping its just a phase.*

So what about you? Any dreams to share and analyze?

Hugs!

Heya Court !

If I could get some sleep maybe I could dream. For the past couple of weeks the sleepy fairy hasn't visited much. Before that, I had wicked dreams of STBX and the abuse he put me though, but in the dreams I stood up to him and won !!!

I know other people who dream like that. Weird dreams that go all over the place and bring people together from different aspects of your life. I think that is so fascinating ~ I don't recall ever having a dream quite like that.

I'm glad your bad dreams have stopped. It sounds to me like you have altered your life enough that you don't need dreams like that anymore.

Hugs and thanks for sharing!

((((((((((((Big Hugs)))))))))))) I can feel for you Robin, really I can. You know how long my battle with insomnia was. And I never did find anything that would completely cure it. I was so sleep deprived.

Those dreams of STBX may have started out wicked ~ but I think the more important message in them was that you WON. And you have. That deserves major kudos.

Big Hugs!

I can't remember the last time I slept so well. And I know a lot of it has to do with being in a place ~ both a physical place and an emotional place in my life ~ that makes me very happy and well adjusted feeling. And Robin, I know that you are a lot happier where you are now. But another part that has helped me so much is that my environment is now virtually stress free and that is a big part of it all for me. You are still under a lot of stress, with having to go through the divorce and all that entails. It really seems only natural that you would still be having sleep troubles. Big hugs!

Thanks for the invite, someday you just might see me on the doorstep !

I believe Court is sleeping now because you make her so secure & loved. She can just be the Court we all know and love to pieces !!!

I just need to learn how to turn this brain off at night.

I just need to learn how to turn this brain off at night.

That is exactly what my doctor told me. Several times. She said just learn to turn it off at night. To that end, journaling helped to some degree, but then I kind of lost my muse for journaling and so the little help I got from that was gone. If you haven't tried it, you might consider doing so. Keep one beside the bed at night and jot down anything on your mind before trying to sleep. May not help ~ but it might be worth a try. The turning off the brain at night thing is great advice ~ but far, far easier said than done.
