Dreaming.........

Have you had any weird/interesting/scary/funny dreams lately?

I almost never remember my dreams (they say you dream every night, you just don't always remember doing so.) but three out of the last 5 nights I have had very vivid dreams. All of them have revolved around meeting Kim's family in some way or another. We don't have any plans for this to happen at any certain time, but we have discussed it once or twice lately, in the some day far from now kind of scenario and I guess that has just sort of stuck with me.

I've also been having baby dreams lately....... the chick who never wanted kids has baby fever SO bad right now. *Hoping its just a phase.*

So what about you? Any dreams to share and analyze?

Hugs!

Now that is weird! LOL! I am laughing out loud at the thought of hopping mad snakes LOLOL! I would guess that it does tie into your conversations with your friend about her career options ~ however tenuous the connection.

I guess it was a timely question for you, eh? Like I said in my original post, I almost never remember my dreams, but lately I have been having very vivid and clear dreams and I remember them in detail the next day. So that's what prompted my question ~ glad it worked for you too!

Thanks for sharing!!

Hugs!

Didn't yer mom tell you if you don't stop it you'll have nightmares?

ruh roh... babies? I'd *love* one... but that ain't happenin'... :( If you are interested, a nice read on a decision to parent and how it all played out is Louise Blum's "You're Not From Around Here, Are You?"

Anyway, at this point nightmares are preferable to the dyke drama of this week.

>>Babies, huh? Maybe it's all that talk of Kim having her 10,000 with you that's prompted THAT dream...<<

I have fears like that about my father. Not suicide, but him returning to NC. He is bad to disappear and no one know where he is. The last I heard, he was living with my grandma in KY. He has been known to go missing and end up in alleys with homeless people. He was admitted to a VA hospital a couple of years back and put on medication. He sometimes thinks he is still in Vietnam.

Dreams can be windows to your soul. I think like most things in life, each dream has a different purpose. Some dreams can be pieces of events that have happened during the day/week to you personally, other dreams can be your subconscience speaking to you with a solution to a problem or a sixth sense, and some dreams can be futuristic (foretelling of the future). I've had dreams that have come true. Also, I sort of believe in leaving your body during dreams and dreaming of events in a past life. I'm not 100% sure about this. But I've had dreams where I'm dreaming of a place that I've never been. I've dreamt of the inside of houses or dwellings that I have no idea where they are. This is what makes me wonder if you can leave your body during sleep and the dreaming state? Because, how would I dream of the inside of a home that I have never seen? The dream is very vivid with great detail about the layout of rooms and furnishings. I've also had dreams about places I've never seen. I have the same question in regard to that as well.

Okay, you may want start calling me...just_call_me_nutcase after this post. LOL

Gigi,

That's good that you could dream and visualize your future with someone special. I've been able to do that in other facets of my life, but not in that area. My confidence level when it comes to women is very low. And, even though I'm aware of this, I've still not been able to conquer the lack of self confidence.

Good luck to you.
