For those of you who had a giggle at my expense on friday, I am very happy I could put a smile on your face! *g* I wrote it not in the fact I was really upset, I was just puzzled as to why it was such an issue.

Thank you Kim for beaming me to "The Rules" I will print them out and give them to K, maybe I would be right once in a while then?! lol

I sat K down after I vented my spleen here, told her that had we been in the privacy of our own home, that the food was not scalding hot grease and being shoved at me, if we were working with let's say fruit or something cooler and soft I would be more open to it. That seemed to make sense to her. Whew!

You know Pam, you are very right. Get a group of lesbians together and you do talk stuff to death. Especially when all ones friends are lesbians who are therapists or social workers! Eeeyiyi! (You know, I really should've been looking when I hooked up with this group! lol)

LOL Cat, I am sure your bestest friend would never say anything that would land her in T R O U B L E with the kitty!

Speaking of kitty's by the way, we got a new addition on the weekend. A very handsome little man who is now named Boots, as in Puss'n'Boots, he looks more like a Max to me, but its Troll #2's baby so hence the naming.

Thank you O'Wise Women of LL for your giggles and advice.

She could enter into extensive training... say for a marathon... run 10 miles a day. That might help.

All in fun, Kim... and payback is fair!

Well, she says she has been doing her *prison yard exercises*, push ups and sit ups and such. Do ya think that counts?

I look forward to any book you bring forth Rayeellen! Perhaps you could write a lesbian 101 for newbies? I found when I came out there was a HUGE amount that I didn't know and some that I really didn't want to know but now know anyway, you know? lol

Again C? The rules are written according the femme, well that would be me. Except I prefer Lipstick with a Twist. *g* So that would mean that K needs to learn and memorize The Rules. Right?

Yes, I slept quite well... as I am sure Kim is... what do you think? She'll wake in 4, maybe 5 days? ;-)

>>Sheesh, I weighed myself after Courtney left for Radford and I lost 13 pounds from the three weeks of scrompin' we did (some of that may have been the result of severe dehydration).<<

I am seriously chuckling over this...

As for actually doing a marathon... walking, in a wheelbarrow, however ya did it... still impressive. My ex's sis lives in the Bay area, and my eldest was visiting her for a week several years ago. They climbed Mt. Tam, and upon reaching the top, my daughter sees a parking lot and was a might ticked she could have driven up ;-) Guess she was too young to remember our driving up once, though she remembered the redwoods in the Muir park.

Thanks! I really don't know much, except that I don't know much! We are all unique creatures, and whilst I joke about drama, we are quite a diverse lot... some couples I know are shy about their relationship and don't show much affection in public. Sometimes one or the other is more willing to do so... sometimes they don't care who knows. Some are partiers, some like quiet time. Many you would never guess are. My favourite politician of all time was Barbara Jordan, and it was only upon her death that many of us learned she was a lesbian and left a partner of 25 years.

Everyone here writes their own story, and while there might be some similarities, in the end... they are unique and interesting.

My biggest concern is for younguns who come out to their parents and face ugly reactions... some get tossed, some are punished, some sent to counseling. I so hope we can put an end to that. I love my daughters dearly, and therefore would not have wished to change anything that led us there, but it would be nice if our young never have to hide who they are going forward.
