{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}} for Lori, Sandy and Nony and anyone else who needs them. When it comes to kids as much as I have tried to be a parent to Nat's kids and as much as I love them, I *know* in my heart that it doesnt even come close to the love I feel for my own kids. When it comes to discipline, I try to step back and see what is "fair" but my instinct is to defend my own... I raised my nephew off and on for 2 years and I thought I was protective of him but I let him do things I wouldnt let my kids do... it didnt bother me taking him down the narrow fishermans wharf but I just about panicked everytime my kids went down there- and I wonder why I didnt when it was my nephew? Things change when you give birth to them yourself.
Congrats to those that have earned it also, Nony, I hope you enjoy the job. Sounds great.
I have an online curfew in the mornings in case the schools phone about sick kids or kids needing anything because Nat has extreme anxiety over going back to school at this time. She panics at the thought of her kids needing anything and her not being here to give it to them. It seems to me that she needs them more than they need her and she is finding it very hard to deal with. I cant say that this is right or wrong because its not me walking in her shoes and all I can do is help her as much as I can, so promising to be off the internet by their morning tea time is a small thing for me if it helps her out into the world again. I had Kelly home on Tuesday. He was fine, he had hurt his arm at school the day before. Nat thought he may have broken it so he had xrays, it wasnt broken but they told her to keep him home and see how it was the following day. She got so upset at school, thinking she should be home for Kelly that she had an anxiety attack and I had to go and get her. She insisted I bring Kelly with me, but he threw a major tantrum about having to go- he would have been quite happy for me to stay home with him and just leave her there! She has a follow up appointment with her psychiatrist coming up soon and I am getting her to write these things down so she wont forget to discuss them with him.
I also got upset with her that she would be supportive of her tutor protesting about the civil union bill before parliament. I went online and found some arguments for and against and we discussed it so she knows a bit more about it. I will post some links in a separate post if anyone else is interested.

I know that since your visits are so few and far between that you will be ever so well behaved and just let Raye keep that halo? *g*
Huge Huge {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{VEN}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} for all that you do and cuz you don't get enough of them. (I think I almost squeezed ya to death when we were together)
Hey lady! Welcome back. I hope that you're going to stay longer and hopefully permanently. I've been doing some changing myself. I'm now preparing to go back to school and then back into the workforce. I'm going to study to become an Addictions Counselor. But right now, I'm just setting down the groundwork. Very soon, I'm going to do a work trial period, which of course, my Disability will continue, which is good news for me. I went to the Disabilities officer and told her that I wanted to continue my education and she told me that Vocational Rehab will pay for me to go to school up to me getting my Bachoeler's Degree. Then I'll have to go to maybe the University of Delaware or Delaware State (two of the biggest colleges in Delaware) to get my master's. But, it will take a while for that to occur. So, I'm glad to "see" you back.
Multiple Hugs.
Hugs,
Sebastian
