Just Sharing..

Mon, 08-30-2004 - 10:01pm

Each day, just about, on my drives to work ,I think about different things (of course) but some are sad, some are creative, some funny, some tear at my heart.....At times, I jot down my thoughts, my feelings, so I can perhaps bring it out here and share it..... It's so intense at the time that I "have" to write it and must say

I agree with you on your whole post.

I just love the night. For some reason I always feel more alert. I could be a vampire but I can't stand the site of blood.

I seem to sleep in 5 hour intervals. I hate to go to bed unless I am totally exhausted. It's as if I have a natural crack cruising through my body. This is what my therapist calls mannic. It is also the part of being bi-polar that I love. The meds well make me groggy for awhile, and sometimes I take them late because I like the so called manic state.

See I am using it now. I know I will be up all night based on how I am feeling right now.

Hope all is well with you. Hugs,

Laurie

I understand Cat, that bats are not horrible critters at all and have received a bad rap through the ages.

I just could not resist touching his wings. They were so soft and delicate feeling.

He was making a shrill noise. He just seemed like a cute little fellow and I have liked them ever since.

But if it doesn't fit I be a lightening bug like g/f said.

Have a nice day cat,

Laurie

Pam so nice to hear that you understand bats. It is strange how after that one night I have just been fastenated by them. Even though I had gloves on he did not try to bite me.

He was just a lost and frightened little critter. And just as happy to be released as my g/f was. lol. Maybe more because he had to listen to her yelling. Wish I could have flown away with him. haa

Hope your day is going well,

Laurie

Yeah, I know how it is in being bipolar, because that's what I am too. I'm taking meds too, and they're working great. But I simply love being up. I can do anything at night without having to deal with my neighbors coming by a knocking on my door. Well, believe me, I know when mania hits me. I feel like I can go a whole week without sleep. But eventually, I do "crash". I have a understanding friend that lets me sleep when I'm tired.

Oh yeah, about bats, I simply think they are great. I had a bat in our building, and the guys that caught it, was going to take it outside and let it free, but some uncaring woman killed it. I was sad after hearing that. well, it's no small wonder that I love Batman and I have a variation of a bat tattooed on my left arm.

Hugs.

(((((igentleheart))))) You are so sweet. Gracemae is one lucky lady.

It is also so nice to know that there are others out there with bi-polar to share and understand things with.

I cannot believe that woman would feel she had to kill the bat rather than just set it free. That breaks my heart.

Hugs,

SoH bats help control the insect population.
How Bats Help Humans

For example.
Don't want mosquitoes?
A single little brown bat can catch 600 Mosquitoes
in just one hour.
Bugs bugging you?
The 20 million Mexican free-tail bats from Bracken Cave, Texas
can eat 250 tons of insects in a night!

BESIDES
With bats eating all those insects, this means fewer chemicals and poisons will be used on crops, and that's healthier for
