No surgery for me until after heart ...

echo stress test and a dopler test on my legs are completed and the results are in.

My legs are still swollen and red after a couple of months and very sore. Now it will be more than a month before any surgery.

Sorry for all the mess.

Never been so sick in my life.

Does anyone know if meds such as mood stableizers, anti-anxiety, and anti-depressants can cause problems like vascular desease or fluid retention. Also could be my diabetes I guess.

I just don't think I am old enough for all these problems and just seem to be going down hill.

Sorry to be babbling on like this. I am just so frustrated and worried about my health.

I used to only get sick like once every 10 years or so. Now I just can't seem to get better.

I keep blaming my meds.

My therapist (I saw her yesterday) said that I needed to go over to the VA Hospital and talk to the Dr. about my legs before I go through with my surgery. The Dr. said he would recommend waiting for the tests and results first and the surgeon agreed.

I am just feeling so down about my health. It is just one thing after the other.

If you are still reading this thanks for letting me wander and ramble.

So sorry to hear this. I am on a mood stabilizer but don't know anything about how it could be related to the things you mentioned. Hope you will find some answers soon. Take care of yourself.

Laurie, I bet you are so frustrated, eh? Having to wait even longer for the solution to your health problems?

I know too well how it feels to be so physically poorly all the time. I spent much of the last two years in that state - wishing to god that the NHS waiting lists wouldn't mean me losing my job. It took the best part of those two years for them to rule out one thing and another and decide what was what - as much as things aren't 100% for me, since my surgery in April, I

You must be feeling so frustrated and worried. I think the dr.'s decision to wait for your health to stabilize a bit more was probably a good one. But I know the waiting must be so difficult. Sending lots and lots of good thoughts and healing angels your way.

Thank you to all of you. your kind words and positive thoughts and words really do help.

I plan to take it a day at a time and just do what I need to do to get healthy again.

G/f and I set up our workout room with a nice treadmill, and some other workout equipment. My mom used to be a manager for people in health spa's and is helping me to start out slowly.

I used to be in such great shape and even maintained it for several years after my discharge from the Navy.

The diabetese is a genetic thing, but I thought I was going to luck out of that since my mom and sister have.

Oh well, I just wanted to thank you all again.

Hugs,
