Chocoholics of the board...

My point to posting is to ask nony a question or two or three, but since the board is undoubtedly full of chocoholics, feel free to take this thread in any direction you wish.
My brain was sort of triggered into this mode of thinking by nony's chocolate references. It also reminded me of something Max had said, namely that British chocolate is so much better than what we have. Now most of what I've had is Hershey's, Ghirardelli, and a local confectioner's product, oh.. and my sis makes dynamite chocolates.
So my question to nony, given that you are a connoisseur de chocolat, how do they compare? Does loubie share your sweet tooth, um... I mean does she have a sweet tooth? (loubie, you are quite free to answer for yourself, rofl!) And do any chocolate goodies make it into your classroom?
Finally... who's chocolate is to die for?

Well I have to say that one thing good about Vermont is Lake Champlain Chocolates.

Phoebe heard on the Food Channel that this was voted the best chocolate in the U.S.
Even though I'm not fond of fudge, this chocolate is to die for.
Max is quickly becoming my least favorite screwed-up person ... not only is she a poor judge of friends, but she knows crap about chocolate.
LOL!!!
Okay, not to make any enemies BUT... in general, grocery store chocolates in Britain do have a richer flavor than our common US grocery store chocolates. There's a bit of 'waxiness' to ours in comparison to UK choc. Ghiradelli is lovely but I wouldn't count it as common.
Lou isn't as passionate about chocolate as I am, but she will always help me finish off any bar I leave for sharing. I believe she's had it in the classroom, but I'll leave that for her to tell.
There's a particular chocolate maker over here who has stores in the malls and in high street locations, called
LOL Raye...what a stir you're causing here, huh?
Unlike Nony, I've not got such a soft spot for chocolate - though I do enjoy the occasional nibble on some of my faves. And, biased though I know I am, I do think that British chocolate is amongst some of the nicest in the world. Thornton's stuff is second to none in many people's books over here. And even the regular chocolate by Cadburys is really good. They do a bar called Galaxy -

Ghiradelli, a good Hershey Dark, or Coffee Crips from Canada.
