attention. And I've not been able to stop thinking about it.

So...

Do you write?

Journal? Stories/books? Letters (long hand, not email)? Poetry? Songs? Something else?

If no, did you at some point in your life but no longer do so? Do you have a reason you stopped? (Share or not as you feel so motivated to do so.) Or did you just *outgrow* it? Become bored with it?

If you at this point in time write, do you find it helps you in day - to - day life? As a catharsis? Stress relief? Sleep aid? Something else?

Or do you write *just* for fun?

I know we have lots of creative talent on this board and I know from reading posts that we have many with a writer's head/heart/hand. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

TIA!

I wrote a bit some years after in the way of my feelings.. I seem/seemed to mostly write when in deep dispair or depression..
During years with ex I wrote many down, sad, hurtful writings and when I read them now days I can feel the pain but

Writing is, and always has been, a huge part of my life.

I used to write poetry a lot, and still do to

Thanks for sharing Raye. Don't worry about rambling! I really enjoyed reading it. I can only imagine the novel you could write. It would be a fabulous read. And you definitely have the talent, you write very well, from what I've seen around here.

Oh Sadie. Wow. What a wonderful gift you are making for him. When he is older, I have a feeling he will really appreciate that. I think its a lovely way to share part of your life with him, while you two can't be together physically. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad it has helped Robin. Its amazing what can be accomplished by just clearing your mind from all the clutter we fill it with in a day. I think taking it to T sessions with you is a really great idea ~ smart thinking. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing Gracemae. Writing down your goals isn't something that I had thought of, but what a great idea! I really like that.
