Oh how fun!!!!!!!!! I just took Jen to get a tattoo, she got a tribal tattoo (she's indian) on her lower back, it's sooooo sexy. We looked at others for us, we want matching ones too. I can't wait to hear the responses but here are some of our considerations:

4 leaf clovers, because we both feel lucky to have found eachother

rainbow striped hearts, pretty self explainatory

OH, one we saw was a joke but there are Chinese symbols (I have the "woman " one on my ankle) but they had "master" and "slave" ones Jen would be the master....she said I am, so we couldn't agree on that one.

Let us know what you do, and beware - they hurt! Jen thought she was so tough, we had to put a cold compress on her neck and get her a sprite, she was white as a sheet. My daughters urge to get a tattoo quickly vanished...thank God.

smooches, Sandra

Non-committal answer ahead!

Whatever works for you. We all have our own tastes, so what works for me (Celtic knots, etc.) likely won't work for you.

I like the one you posted, but it is you & Kim's final descion. I LOVE my tatoo ... it is my kiss mark on my left cheek ( and I don't mean the one on my face ) ! And yes it means what it looks like LOL .

My next on will be a Celtic Triquatra on my lower back. I believe you should put one on that means the most to you. Can you see it on you in 30 years ? If yes, go for it !!! Take some Advil before you go, they do hurt.

Huggles & good luck,

Robin

Some ideas from Sheila and Laurie.

1) Matching rings- they won't come off they won't get lost. (but don't get them they can be ugly.) Or make sure they won't be ugly.

2) Half of a heart on each person with the initials of the other in the 1/2 of their heart. With soul on one and mate on the other, or under the heart.

3) A Yin on one person and the yan/yang on the other. (symbolizing your yin to the others yan/yang) is it yang or yan?

4) We think something more personal than just generic lesbian symbols.

5) Maybe the planets that rule your horoscope sign, if one of the planets means love or something special.

Okay I think we are finished.

Let us know what you decide and how painfull it is.

Laurie and Sheila

this title got my attention so I peeked to see which one of y'all it referred to;)

As far as the tatoos go you've gotten a lot of great input here, but I have to agree that if you can see it on you in 30 years then go for it!
