As I was checking mail , my wonderful turkey friends all 23 of them are on my front yard and nibbling at the grass, etc. They are so fat, and so many, I have taken several pictures of them in the past few weeks. This is the first time at night this early that I have seen them, usually they are out very early in the morning. It is interesting that the dogs and cats have gotten use to them being here, that they watch from the inside windows and don't make a sound. I was told by a Native American woman, that the reason the turkeys have been coming are they are a symbol of propersity and safe journey.
Thought I share, gracemae59,
Thought I share, gracemae59,

Consider it a good omen.
Turkey #1: "All she's doing is starring at us!"
Turkey #2: "I thought by bringing the whole clan, she would get pissed off."
Turkey #3: "Stomp on the grass. That will get her steaming!"
Turkey #4: "Oh, why don't she just shoot already!"
:)
Okay, this is just humor. I couldn't resist.

I remember you posting about them before.
I have never ever seen one just out and about like that.
Glad it is a good sign. I think it is so awesome!

Smoke some cigs in the room and the bird will know it is a window.
Of course you would think he could see his reflection and wonder why he does not
try to avoid the other bird. hmmmmmmmm.
I'm stumped.
