I could write my own drama...

I'm sorry I left chat so abruptly the other night. It was cool to come back from work and join in. Nat is going through a bit of a bad time lately and I am doing my best to take care of her. I told her I can protect her from her friends who use her, I can protect her from harm, I can protect her from a lot of things but I cannot protect her from herself. She was arrested last night in the supermarket.... had $180 worth of groceries in her trolley that it seems she had no intention to pay for. She was released on bail and goes to court on Thursday. She thinks she will plead guilty and apply for diversion which means she wont get a record.

I mentioned in chat that I was having a lot of pain and going to the doctor, and I went today. He says the pain was that I had a gallstone and as my gallbladder is still inflamed is worried about infection and bursting and silly things like that, so I have to starve for 12 hours and have ultrasounds and blood tests tomorrow and then I will find out if I have to have surgery or not. If I have another attack, I have to call an ambulance and will have emergency surgery... I hope this isnt going to put me out of work for too long because I have just started the job, I dont want to let them down this soon! Not after they just gave me a pay rise and all... I have got tramadol to take for pain but it says "may cause drowsiness" - translated means it will knock me out for at least six hours and leave me drowsy for at least 6 more....

I'm sorry to sound so negative everytime I post lately. I dont mean to. I guess I just want to know it is going to be ok... but no one has a crystal ball. I just get tired of being the one who looks after everyone else all the time and when it comes to me, well I couldnt even get anyone to drive me to the doctor the other night.... oh well, maybe I will come back with better news.

Although they often do the surgery laporascopically these days, it is still major surgery on your internal organs.
