Date night?

Kim and I have date night once a week, almost every week. We feel it is a very important time for us to reconnect as a couple, take the time to just stop and breathe for a moment. Although we see each other almost every day, during the week I don't get home till about midnight and she has to leave for work at 7:30 the next morning - so though we see each other, and LOVE that time together, date night is our one night that we actually have plenty of time, can take things slowly, and just be together.

Which leads to the question...

We go to dinner every week and then sometimes a movie afterwards. I really enjoy doing this, but would love to surprise her with something new and different sometime. But...

I'm drawing a blank. Completely. I've been thinking about this for a couple of weeks, and I just don't know what to do. I need ideas. And you don't need to be coupled to offer your thoughts on this. I'm looking most especially for CHEAP ideas. A splurge now and then is fine, but... ya know.

And don't worry,

~C

Laurie, Court's already complaining about how cold it is here, so I doubt she could stand a night of 40 degree sleeping weather (I love it).

There is an apple festival in nearby Amherst the weekend of meet-n-greet that we'd like to check out.

Court, can you cook a full course meal using only a microwave?

She could pack a picnic with wine, bread,
and cheese.

The idea of spending the evening by the
fire and then cozying up in a tent really
appeals to me.

Me too Pam... it's a big time fantasy of mine.

For me, cooking for someone, or having someone
cook for me, is the ultimate in pampering.

Do you know anyone with a hot tub that might let you use it?? Just the two of you, nice cool weather, hot tub with some romantic music and a few candles, maybe some wine and cheese.

p.s. leave the swimsuits at home!!
