Hello ladies, the sun is out here. Just a quick update on moving. I look at all the stuff I was taking and going to try to fit in the car. I realized it just wasn't going to fit, so I got rid of 3 storage totes of stuff. I got these space bags, that compresses everything to thin, for clothing and bedding, my books, most of them went into two duffel bags, still have two small boxes. I tried putting the rocking chair and chest into car, those fit into the back seat. So I should be able to pack around that stuff and put stuff into trunk , and close it. No need for roof rack. I also decided to do the driving myself, I figure I will be leaving late afternoon that day and hopefully reaching Penn. before night fall and then stay at a motel with the dog. The closing is definite 20th of Oct., but everyone is ready to close early, still waiting to hear from the buyers attorneys, so we might close next week. I put triple AAA on the car and they map out the route, taking 91 to 81 to 84, avoiding all the city traffic, no tolls. The car will be road ready the day of closing. As for the apt. I was told that I most likely had it, they were having trouble getting credit report, but everything else looked great. So follow up today on that. Ah, the pets, Zack the cat, is going to a wonderful nursing home. The other four will go to the vets at 50.00 a fee, and they will find homes for them. As for Ollie, the dog, she had an appt. with Humane Society on Friday, and refused to get into the car, ~ugh~, I was so mad and lost the space, so this dog is the bane of my existence. Somehow and someway, she has got to gone by Friday of this week. So I will work out at the gym for the week and do a few shifts for the domestic violence hotline, which I have been an advocate for 3 years.

So that is me, I haven't worry too much about the move, it will happen, and figure once down there it will take about 2 months to get settle into routines. I am excited to move and to meet new people. So that is me and everyone have a great day and week! gracemae59
