Okay, I have pretty much established through therapy, reading, reflection, and ah . . . personal experience that I am indeed a lesbian, (even though no one else believes it.)

Here is one thing that I wonder about . . .

When gf and I go out to a place where there are a lot of lesbians (like a bar or club); I never check anyone out. I know how to check out guys, and I kind of do that without thinking about it, I'm just used to it. But I don't look around and think about other women. Is that a bad sign? I'm kind of just fixated on what I have in front of me, (my beautiful gf.)

My therapist says that it is part of the coming out process and I will notice other women in time. What do you all think? GF and I are planning on going out tonight for awhile, maybe I should conduct a science experiment? How would I go about that?

You are all my panel of experts, so fire away . . .

Love,

Scarlett

My heart totally belongs to Court, but I can appreciate and recognize eye candy.

Kim, Jen and I always elbow one another and go "Hey, it's one of us". It's kinda like a treasure hunt and you want to say something like "Hi, hey - we're gay too" Of course if we did that they would probably say "want a medal you dork". sandra

I think its fine that you don't notice other women. I think its fine if you do (in moderation of course ;-) ). But either way, I don't think its a sign that you are or are not a lesbian. I'm always checking out the eye candy when we go out, but I'm not checking them out as in ohhhhh I want her, its more like appreciating beauty when I see it. And plus, as Kim said, we've made a real game out of the 'is she family?' thing. I think being a lesbian means that you want to be with

LOL! I completely agree with your post Sandra. Kim and I are always pegging people as family, and I've told her its her job (one of my modifications to The Rules :) ) to make friends with other lesbian couples. So, I'll see someone who *I* think is family and I'll try to convince her to go make friends for us. She just looks at me like I'm nuts and hasn't yet taken me up on one of my suggestions. hehehe
