As I post this I am bawling my eyes out, so please excuse any rambling or typos.

My youger brother was in an accident at work earlier in the week. A tire blew up on one of the big trucks and pierced his eye. He has had a cornia replacment today

My sister was diagnosed years ago and seem to have it under control. Thank you for your kind words. I was just remembering how sad I was for her. we have always been very close.

I am sending you inner strength, it is way down inside. You are survivors so you have the inner strength to get through this.

I will keep you all in my prayers for health and innner strength.

I think it is awesome that he gets a chance with the transplant. I hope it holds up.

I am also thinking how lucky he was. In the navy we had to work on large tires like that while they were in steel cages. They are called split rims and there is so much pressure behind them. He is lucky he did not get killed.

Those tires are very dangerous. So he certainly had angles watching over him.

I pray they will help heal his eye and the infection. And if not then I pray he has extra good sight in the other eye.

Take care,

xo,

Laurie
